WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Dining usually commences at 7.30 so we ask guests to arrive 10 to 20 mins prior to this as we serve all guest at the same time.
CAN YOU CATER FOR VEGETARIANS?
As you will see from our menus we are very vegetarian friendly and usually have an alternative for our veggie guests.
IS THERE A CORKAGE CHARGE?
We charge £1 per person corkage which covers chilling and opening bottles and use of glasses; you are welcome to bring wine, beer, champagne; whatever your pleasure.
ARE OTHER DRINKS AVALABLE?
As we do not have a licence we do not sell any alcohol but we have a selection of soft drinks including Kentish fruit juices and locally bottled Kingsdown Water.
HOW DO I JOIN? HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?
Annual membership costs £5 per household, and members are allowed to bring up to four guests with them. To join please download the membership form.
In order to make a booking please fill in a booking form and return it with a cheque or cash, to The Dining Club. You are welcome to email us or telphone for a chat if you require further information.
Please note: all bookings are on a first-come first-served basis so please include a second preferred date where possible. We will confirm your booking via telephone if you are sending booking forms through the post.
ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
Members should be aware that our toilet facilities are located upstairs.
CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE FUNCTION?
The Dining Club is an ideal venue for small small gatherings. We can organise Breakfast Meetings, Brunches, Lunches, Afternoon Teas and, of course, Evening Dinners. If you would like to use The Dining Club to hold a Family Christening, Wedding Breakfast, Birthday or Anniversary we would be happy to quote for you. The Dining Club is ideal for sensitive and quieter occasions such as Funerals, when a cold buffet and a friendly venue may be all you require.
A minimum of 12 people and a maximum of 30 is required for private bookings. The Dining Club is available to non-members subject to certain conditions. We can arrange anything from co-ordinated table decorations and flowers to bespoke menus.
Please note that because we have three separate dining rooms we are unable to seat more than 12 people together on one table and larger groups will be split between rooms.
We do not take bookings for 18th or 21st Birthdays or for Stag or Hen nights.
